Our client, a leading strategic communications firm, is looking for an ambitious Director to join their Crisis and Litigation team. They are a specialist communications firm that advises businesses, senior executives, and high-net-worth individuals on reputation management, crisis response, and corporate affairs. They work across a range of sectors, including finance, legal, technology, energy, and professional services, supporting multinational corporations, financial institutions, law firms, and high-profile individuals facing legal, regulatory, or media scrutiny.
Role
- Lead and manage diverse client accounts, ensuring smooth operations and mentoring junior team members
- Extensive expertise in corporate communications, crafting tailored strategies for different stakeholder groups
- Trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering insightful counsel at the highest levels
- Experienced in crisis response, maintaining composure and precision in high-pressure situations
- Specialist in litigation and disputes communications, with a strong grasp of UK media law and court procedures
- Excellent at building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Versatile advisor with expertise across multiple industries
- Well-versed in the latest political, economic, and media developments impacting corporate clients
- Strong background in cyber security and data privacy communications
- Proven ability to generate business leads through an established professional network
- Familiarity with crisis preparedness and training is beneficial
Requirements
- A highly experienced crisis communications and reputation management specialist.
- Proven ability to lead key client accounts with a proactive and independent approach.
- Strong track record in handling high-stakes issues and crises across various industries.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining relationships that generate new business.
- Passionate about contributing to the growth and expansion of the Special Situations practice.
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership to enhance the firm’s market position.
- Strong understanding of UK and international crisis communications landscapes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise at C-suite level.
