Our client is a well-established, award-winning agency with an expanding global footprint. Headquartered in London, with a strong presence in North America, Dubai and South-East Asia. They are looking for an entrepreneurial Associate Director to join their Energy and Industrials team supporting across a client base that spans Europe, the USA, the Middle East and APAC. 

A multi-award-winning full-service communications agency, they have tripled in size and revenue over the last 5 years and are looking to continue this exciting growth over then next 2 to 3 years, so this is an incredibly exciting time to join. They support some of the world’s most high profile clients across a multitude of industries including Financial Services, Technology, Capital Market, Professional Services, Sustainability, and Energy, Renewables and Industrials. Role

  • Drive team utilisation, client retention, growth, and new business acquisition
  • Provide strategic and creative direction for campaigns, ensuring quality and effectiveness
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering high performance
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Offer strategic counsel informed by market, industry, and client trends
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities within existing client accounts
  • Handle client relationship risks and foster collaboration between clients and teams
  • Lead the development of innovative, measurable campaigns aligned with goals and budgets
  • Advise on messaging, branding, and crisis communications
  • Oversee all deliverables, acting as the final approver for quality assurance
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through pitches and proposals
  • Develop strategies to grow accounts and secure additional revenue streams
  • Ensure alignment with company objectives and values
  • Motivate teams to meet targets and exceed expectations
  • Support professional growth through mentoring and training

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management, client services, or communications within energy, industrials, automotive, engineering, manufacturing clients and/or B2B sectors
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth, leveraging both agency and personal networks to drive new business opportunities
  • Skilled in identifying opportunities for organic growth, including cross-selling and upselling
  • A self-starter, entrepreneurial and commercially minded individual with a keen sense of the value of building a network with the long term in mind 
  • You will be comfortable working both with a global team and colleagues based across geographies as well as independently 
  • You will be a team player with a keen understanding of the importance of curating and maintaining a people centric culture
