We are excited to be partnering with a scaling B2B SaaS ClimateTech business as they look to hire a VP/ Director of Marketing to join their growing team.

The funded business, which uses AI and ML to analyse large data sets and provide insight for nature conservation, carbon offsetting and energy infrastructure, is looking to add a senior marketing head to drive customer acquisition, elevate brand visibility, and lead a talented team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high growth start-up platform that is using AI and data to tackle climate change. The VP of Marketing will play a pivotal role in scaling the business through managing diverse marketing channels—including outbound, paid advertising, webinars, and content marketing—while collaborating closely with sales and product teams to identify and execute growth opportunities.

Role

  • Develop and execute growth strategies: Create and implement marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and engagement through channels such as outbound campaigns, paid advertising, webinars, and content marketing.
  • Lead generation across multiple channels: Ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified leads by optimising efforts across paid media, outbound outreach, AdWords, and webinars.
  • Team leadership and development: Manage and inspire a team of marketing professionals, including managers, content creators, and lead generation specialists, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Enhance lead conversion and customer acquisition: Work collaboratively with the Sales team to optimize the customer journey and improve conversion rates from initial contact to acquisition.
  • Explore new growth opportunities: Partner with leadership to identify emerging market opportunities, particularly within sustainability-focused industries, while refining existing strategies.
  • Build and elevate brand positioning: Strengthen the brand’s reputation as a leading enabler of Net Zero transitions, showcasing its expertise in geospatial and Earth Observation-based solutions.
  • Develop targeted content strategies: Create content that addresses key challenges in environmental impact, sustainability, and geospatial insights, ensuring alignment with the needs of the target audience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally within sustainability, Earth Observation, or geospatial data industries.
  • Strong expertise in driving growth through paid media, content strategies, outbound campaigns, and account-based marketing.
  • Skilled in leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools for scalable and effective outreach efforts.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
  • Data-driven approach with advanced analytical skills to optimise campaigns and guide strategic decisions
  • Familiarity with sustainability regulations, such as EUDR compliance, and crafting relevant messaging.
