Richard Savage

Partner

Richard has worked alongside Tech, VCs and High Growth businesses for almost a decade, helping grow ambitious businesses from seed stage Start-ups to Multinationals, and everything in between. His recruitment specialism expands across Marketing, Communications and C-suite hires for Corporates, Start-ups, Scale-ups, Venture Capital and their Marketing service providers.

He is also an expert in wider Talent Consultancy focusing on Employer Branding, Talent Strategy, Talent Acquisition and Talent Retention. Richard made the leap into recruitment having worked closely with VCs and High Growth businesses in his previous life as a Communications and PR professional.

“Listening to entrepreneurs and investors talk consistently and with passion about the importance of investing in talent and teams, rather than ideas, was the thing that really drove me towards recruitment. I really liked the idea of adding value to businesses by finding them the best talent to help them grow.

Given my knowledge of PR, Marketing, Communications and the Technology Investment ecosystem I thought I’d be best placed to help businesses in those areas and, hopefully, that’s what we’ve been able to do.” Richard’s knowledge and experience is also well valued by the community, having been asked to speak at Tech conferences, contribute to Government reports and support early stage businesses through workshops with Incubators and VC portfolios.

Sam Corn

Partner

Sam has over a decade’s Recruitment and Talent Consultancy experience and brings a wealth of expertise in how to support both hiring and talent engagement in complex and nuanced talent markets.

He supports cross sector clients from the largest blue-chip corporates, both private and listed, to the most exciting high growth start ups and scale ups, as well as some of the world’s most reputable communications and global advisory consultancies. Sam’s network stretches from New York to Singapore via London and Hong Kong, across Financial Services and Private Equity, Financial Technology and Capital Markets. 

Sam also brings a deep expertise in wider Talent Consultancy focusing on Employer Branding, Talent Strategy, Talent Acquisition and Talent Retention. Over his decade in the industry Sam has supported client as they build, develop or refine their EVP, hiring processes and structures and employee experience.  

As a long time sports coach, Sam is acutely aware of the interplay between the ‘sum and its parts’ when it comes to team building. His approach balances the big picture strategy behind a specific hire, with the individual intricacies and building blocks necessary to making successful, long term partnerships.

Alexandra Corton

Associate Consultant

Ali joins Sapio from a background of experience across the Legal and Financial sectors. Following on from a law degree and experience across top tier law firms, Ali chose to pursue a career in Financial Services.

Ali cut her teeth as a Risk Analyst and Blockchain Listing’s Administrator at a large FinTech business where she gained valuable experience in the Crypto and FinTech industries. Alexandra then spent 3 years working at a Private Family Office as their sole trader, responsible for the complete P/L and risk management of the fund consistently achieving around 40% ROI per annum.

This experience has led Ali to have considerable knowledge of the Financial Services industry with particular insight into Listed Companies, Asset Management and Risk.

Having joined Sapio initially as a Researcher, Ali puts this wealth of knowledge and attention to detail through a talent perspective to help businesses grow their teams and candidates grow their careers.

Rosie Coyle

Researcher

Rosie joins Sapio as an experienced Researcher with a background in candidate sourcing across temp and permanent roles with a focus on technical hires. After travelling South East Asia and New Zealand, Rosie began working as a Candidate Consultant at a Bournemouth based recruitment agency and quickly developed an interest and aptitude for the work. She has now swapped the seas for the city as she looks to continue to build on what has been a very promising start to her career.
 
Rosie is a deeply determined and tenacious person, a keen runner, with an interest in wellness and nutrition. Rosie trained as an actress within the musical theatre and film industry, is a member of the National Youth Theatre and has worked professionally on feature films, including Fantastic Beasts and Napoleon. This has given her a passion for anything creative and the professional communication skills she utilises within her work, from marketing duties to establishing a great rapport with clients and candidates.
