Entry Level Marketing and Business Development Executive

We are currently supporting our client, a global professional services firm headquartered in London but with offices across the USA, Asia Pacific and the Middle East as they seek to build out their internal marketing function to support the next stage of growth of the business.

Our client has tripled in size and revenue over the last 5 years and is looking to double again over the next 2 or 3 years, so this is an incredibly exciting time to join. The business is widely recognised both for the quality of its work and contribution to the industry, but also as an employer, winning multiple culture and employer accolades.

We are looking for an ambitious, self-starting and curious candidate to join their global head office in London. As the entry level Marketing Executive you will work closely with three members of the executive board (the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Growth Officer and the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer) as well as the Director of Marketing. Being at the epicenter of internal efforts to promote their business and ensure their growth pipeline remains strong.

Role

  • Being at the epicenter of a multifaceted, multi-channel marketing team that is focused on smart marketing and measurable growth
  • Being the point person for day-to-day management of our suite of marketing programs – namely HubSpot and Cognism
  • Familiar with all data within these programmes to ensure smooth and impactful outbound marketing campaigns can be executed on behalf of salespeople across the business on a daily basis
  • Ensuring all outbound marketing campaigns are delivered in the most effective way to drive the greatest success rate
  • Responsible for consistently learning and improving the process of outbound marketing to achieve consistent outcomes
  • Flawless communication skills and a highly organized and counsel-led persona that will manage liaison on an ongoing basis with the sales team
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills with demonstrable ability to work on multiple campaigns at once
  • Data hungry – an appetite for analysing all data to ensure it is organized and working as hard as possible
  • A passion for measurable outcomes and reporting of results
  • Restless curiosity – the ability to map together all aspects of the marketing function and connect different puzzle pieces to ensure the full picture is consistently realized
  • Smart sales nuance – the ability to assist the Chief Growth Officer on campaigns and sales collateral to ensure the entire sales journey – from outreach to nurture to pitch and conversion – is measured and assisted

Requirements

  • Marketing experience, ideally with a commercial focus (i.e. BD) or a proven desire to learn within a marketing role
  • Basic understanding of how marketing and sales work hand-in-hand to drive growth
  • An understanding or hands-on experience with a CRM (ideally HubSpot)
  • Experience in managing paid LinkedIn campaigns preferable
  • High attention to detail, being good with data management
  • Oganized and able to manage own workload – expecting support but also bringing proactive ideas to the ongoing marketing strategy
  • An understanding of using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A sense of restless curiosity and eager to grow
