Senior Account Manager

Our client, a leading integrated marketing and communications agency, is looking to expand their expanding Financial Services team and hire an experienced Senior Account Manager. Boasting clients across Insurance, Personal Finance, Sustainable Finance and FinTech to name a few, they are at an exciting growth period with the team having doubled in size in the past 2 years.
Role
- Oversee and guide daily client account activities, ensuring high-quality delivery on all projects
- Identify and manage media opportunities that align with client goals and market dynamics
- Build and strengthen relationships with key media contacts, including national and industry-specific outlets
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ goals, industry challenges, and current issues affecting their sector
- Design and implement communication strategies that help clients achieve their communication and business objectives
- Contribute to new business development, including preparation and pitching
- Stay informed on emerging social media trends and support our team’s digital and social initiatives
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and skill development
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in communications, either agency-based or in-house
- A passion for financial services, with experience in client work within the sector
- Proven expertise in corporate positioning, brand strategy, and reputation management
- Strong client relationship skills, built on trust and a commitment to providing strategic, creative, and relevant communication solutions
- Forward-looking approach to communications, with a clear understanding of the role that digital and traditional channels play in effective outreach
