We are currently supporting one of our longest standing clients, on a key hire as they seek to capitalise on an exciting period of growth within their Financial Services practice and bring in an ambitious Associate Director or Junior Director. The client is one of the leading strategic communications consultancies globally, with a presence in every major business centre in the world and a track record of supporting the world’s most prominent businesses on all things reputation.
Role
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day activity for a varied portfolio of top tier and global financial services clients
- Offer ongoing guidance to high-level clients, ranging from PR Managers and Communication Directors to CMOs and CEOs.
- Lead integrated client teams to execute campaigns targeting various corporate audiences and stakeholders.
- Promote best practices in client management throughout the team and cultivate relationships with senior client contacts.
- Actively seek and manage media opportunities for clients, while nurturing key media relationships.
- Ensure the quality of the team's written materials, including press releases, media commentary, opinion pieces, and proposals.
- Set a positive example by staying informed about industry developments and inspiring junior team members.
- Fulfil duties as a senior member of the Financial Services team, including line management, training support,resource management and strategic guidance.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and pitches, while identifying avenues for organic growth.
Requirements
- Extensive corporate and financial communications experience working in or on behalf of businesses within the Financial Services industry
- Passionate about the financial services sector, with hands-on experience collaborating with clients in the industry.
- Proficient in navigating corporate positioning, brand elevation, and reputation management briefs.
- Networked and media-savvy individual with an intricate understanding of media and social media landscape
- Highly organised, entrusted with managing busy accounts and ensuring team efficiency.
- Proficient writer adept at crafting client communication strategies, opinion pieces, and compelling new business proposals.
- Proven track record of cultivating strong client relationships grounded in trust and mutual respect.
- Forward-thinking perspective on communication, appreciating diverse skill sets to effectively engage audiences across multiple channels.
