We are currently supporting our client, a fast growing agency in the DACH region as they look to expand this year. A forward-thinking public relations agency with offices in Berlin, Munich, and Vienna they specialise in corporate communications, media relations, and brand positioning with clients ranging from disruptive start-ups to established global brands. With a deep network of journalists and industry leaders, they craft compelling narratives that resonate across markets. Their hands-on, advisory-led approach ensures tailored strategies that drive meaningful impact in an ever-evolving media landscape.
Role
- Expanding and maintaining relationships with journalists and key industry contacts - strong connections are the foundation of effective PR.
- Supporting market analysis, topic research, and strategic communication planning for our clients.
- Writing and distributing press releases, guest articles, and commentary pieces.
- Bringing fresh ideas to the table and gradually taking on more responsibility in both team projects and client relations.
- Organizing and managing PR initiatives such as press conferences, trade fairs, and client events.
- Tracking and evaluating the impact of PR campaigns through detailed reports.
Requirements
- Some prior experience in communications - whether through PR or advertising agencies, media outlets, or corporate communications
- A background in journalism, public relations, or a related field is a plus
- Strong communication skills, confidence, and enthusiasm—you're not afraid to pick up the phone
- A natural ability to network and build relationships, whether at industry events or casual meetups
- A balance between active listening and knowing when to take initiative
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content
- A proactive mindset—you understand that starting out can be challenging, but you’re motivated to push through and aren’t afraid to ask for support
- An interest in current events and a habit of staying informed
- Familiarity with tools like Google Data Studio and Google Analytics is a plus
- Fluent German and strong English skills (at least B2 level)
