Our client, an integrated Communications agency that works with market-leading Tech Scale-ups, VCs and drivers of innovation across the US and Europe, is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic Account Director to join their growing team.

The agency is one of the most reputable in the space in both the US and UK markets and is looking for an experienced account handler to lead on clients across Gaming, Cleantech, Electric Vehicles and more. The role will span the gamut of B2B, Corporate, Crisis and Strategic Comms.


  • You will be the day to day client contact and responsible for building or developing relationships in order to proactively seek out opportunities on their behalf and anticipate and mitigate potential issues

  • Lead planning, strategy and execution resourcing within your client portfolio, and making appropriate internal or client adjustments where necessary

  • Comfortable working across an account requirement from strategy and senior counsel to crisis and issues, executive media training, and supporting proactive and reactive media activity

  • Day to day account lead, including team resource allocation and financial planning, as well as defining scope of works for specific projects or campaigns, and leveraging results

  • Alongside any line management, take a leading role in supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing timely and actionable feedback, organising training sessions and other opportunities for team professional development

  • Be an ambassador for the agency both in respect of developing existing relationship but also seeking out further opportunities, and taking a leading role in the pitching process

  • Take pride in being an expert in our industry, staying up-to-date with trends and developments, industry news and technological advancements


  • Prior B2B Technology PR & Comms experience, whether agency or in-house

  • Creative and ambitious, you have a proven track record of delivering against client briefs and across multi channel campaigns

  • You are a team player able to effectively manage up and down, mentoring and reverse mentoring. Prior line management would be a bonus

  • Confident and professional communicator with a commercial mindset happy to take on a leading role in networking and pitching

  • Demonstrable experience of working and thriving under pressure, remaining calm and considered in client settings

  • Driven by a proactive curiosity in the Technology industry and its evolution
