Our client, an award winning global Tech Agency, is looking for an ambitious AM to join their growing B2B Tech team in London. They boast some of the most exciting clients across the tech spectrum in industries such as: AI, MarTech, Blockchain, SaaS, Quantum Computing, Semiconductors and Video Surveillance.

Role

  • The Account Manager role entails driving exceptional client results across media and creative channels, always mindful of how these outcomes contribute to overarching KPIs.
  • Your responsibilities include overseeing all account activities, providing guidance to junior team members, and enlisting senior team support for tasks ranging from pitching to strategy formulation.
  • Strong organisational and relationship-building skills, particularly with journalists, colleagues, and clients, are essential for success.
  • Desired qualities include ambition, proactivity, adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

  • Media relations: Lead efforts to secure earned results, leveraging extensive media contacts and crafting compelling press stories.
  • Strategic thinking: Stay updated on media trends, demonstrating creativity in thought leadership initiatives.
  • Exceptional writing skills: Produce engaging content across various formats with strong writing skills.
  • Time management: Effectively handle multiple campaigns, ensuring timely delivery while meeting deadlines.
  • Organisational skills: Effectively distribute workload across the account portfolio, aligning tasks with KPIs.
  • Reporting: Ensure timely reporting of coverage and results to clients, leading client reporting and competitive analysis.
  • Team development: Coach and motivate junior team members, supporting their career growth.
  • New business:  Participate in new business research, planning, and pitch activities.
  • Speaking and awards: Lead speaking and awards initiatives, assisting in abstract and awards submissions.
  • Marketing: Contribute to European marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility.
