Our client, a growing Content Advisory business that works with scaling Tech and Venture Capital businesses, is looking to add a Content Management specialist to its rapidly scaling team.
The business is looking for a strategically minded content manager to work across both business-led projects and its client base as it looks to continuously deliver best in class results for its growing client.
Role
- Managing and overseeing multiple client accounts and projects within a portfolio, effectively implementing measurable content strategies.
- Focus on audience growth not only for individual accounts but also across the client base, ensuring that the content reaches the right people and delivers desired outcomes for clients.
- Maintaining a strong and continuous overview of day-to-day activities across all accounts.
- Managing writers and experts across multiple accounts, ensuring exceptional execution and consistent achievement of goals.
- Cultivating and nurturing important client relationships.
- Acquiring a comprehensive understanding of each business and its industry, as well as its employees.
- Staying up to date with timely and relevant developments in the respective markets.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure excellent delivery of services.
- Dedicate some time to developing audiences for the business itself, with an initial focus on the newsletter, which targets the most valuable audience for our clients (finance teams).
- This internal "growth" aspect of the role requires the same level of dedication and self-initiative as working with clients.
Requirements
- An accomplished content manager, you possess a strong enthusiasm for cultivating audiences and communities around content.
- Your track record demonstrates hands-on execution skills alongside effective planning abilities.
- With logical thinking, you excel at organising information and crafting simple yet brilliant plans and strategies.
- Writing and editing come naturally to you.
- You boast a robust knowledge of content, media, and the creator economy, ideally with a passion for discussing exemplary practices and staying informed about developments in content and Silicon Valley.
- You combine expertise with common sense, skillfully strategising and implementing tactical approaches to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech and/or VC is a bonus; knowledge a prerequisite.
- Although you possess at least a baseline understanding of B2B content marketing, your focus has shifted towards content's role in audience building and its broader value beyond customers and users.
- Setting goals and OKRs is familiar to you, but you embrace non-traditional perspectives and approaches, distinguishing yourself from conventional content marketers.
- As an efficient and meticulous account/project manager, you thrive on timelines and pay great attention to detail whilst being a confident and genuine relationship-builder
- You eagerly embrace hands-on work, consistently seeking innovative approaches, whether it involves refreshing a content strategy or mastering a new tool.
- Juggling multiple responsibilities energises you.
