We are currently supporting our client, a leading public relations firm specialising in Technology & Innovation and FinTech in their pursuit of a highly capable and experienced Managing Director and Head of UK to lead their operations and growth in the UK market.

In the capacity of Managing Director and Head of UK, you'll assume responsibility for providing strategic direction, supervising operations, and ensuring the advancement and success of their UK-based endeavors. Your main focus will be fostering business development, nurturing robust client relationships, and guaranteeing the delivery of top-tier PR services to our clientele within the Technology & Innovation and FinTech sectors.


  • Formulate and execute business strategies and programs aimed at fostering growth and extending market presence in the UK, particularly focusing on the Technology & Innovation and FinTech sectors.
  • Take charge of, oversee, and guide a top-tier team of PR experts, ensuring they provide outstanding client service and uphold a consistently high level of quality in their work.
  • Supervise the creation and execution of innovative PR initiatives for clients within the Technology & Innovation and FinTech sectors, offering strategic direction and verifying alignment with clients' business goals.
  • Serve as the main liaison for key clients, nurturing relationships and providing outstanding client service to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
  • Recognize and actively pursue new avenues for business, take the lead in driving business development initiatives, and drive revenue growth by securing new clients and fostering organic growth from current ones.
  • Work closely with the global leadership team to guarantee alignment with the firm's overarching strategic objectives and vision, actively contributing to the evolution of best practices and promoting operational excellence.
  • Cement the firm's reputation as a leading voice and expert in the Technology & Innovation and FinTech arenas, proactively participating in industry events, speaking engagements, and various opportunities to heighten the firm's prominence.
  • Leadership: Capability to motivate and lead a team in achieving shared goals, while promoting a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence.
  • Business Acumen: Solid grasp of business fundamentals, capable of formulating and implementing strategic business plans, fostering revenue growth, and effectively managing financial performance.
  • Client Focus: Dedication to providing outstanding client service, fostering and nurturing robust client relationships, and comprehending and fulfilling clients' needs and goals.
  • Strategic Thinking: Established track record of strategic thinking, opportunity identification, and the creation of innovative PR strategies that resonate with clients' business objectives and current industry trends.
  • Industry Expertise: Thorough grasp and insight into the Technology & Innovation and FinTech landscapes, driven by a genuine passion for staying informed about industry advancements and trends.


  • Experience in the technology sector and experience in fintech are essential. Preferably both agency and some in house experience. 
  • Established record of effectively scaling and supervising business ventures, with a keen emphasis on driving business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Proven background in guiding and nurturing top-performing teams, prioritising mentorship, coaching, and cultivating a collaborative and forward-thinking workplace culture.
  • Deep understanding of the Technology & Innovation and FinTech sectors, enabling the provision of strategic advice to clients and the leadership of impactful PR strategy development.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling the establishment and upkeep of robust client connections, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, as well as effectively engage with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker capable of creativity, innovation, and achieving outcomes in a swiftly evolving and dynamic industry context.
