Our client, a high-growth SaaS AI company, is looking for an ambitious Senior Comms Manager to join their Communications team. With offices on both the West and East coast, our client is going through an exciting growth period with 2024 set to be the businesses biggest yet, having taken a further funding round earlier this year.


In this highly collaborative position, you will oversee the business's communication strategy, coordinating with a variety of stakeholders to ensure alignment in our storytelling initiatives. You will have direct responsibility for program management and reporting across media, influencer, and industry analyst relations.

  • Media Relations
    • Collaborate with executives, product teams, and marketing to develop compelling narratives and work with PR agencies to ensure media coverage.
    • Keep a steady flow of updates on customer, partner, and product progress.
    • Implement a consistent reporting schedule to assess program performance and efficiency.
    • Produce a high volume of polished and strategic external materials, such as press releases, media pitches, speaking abstracts, and award submissions.
  • Strategic Communications
    • Advise in various formats (written or verbal) and select the most effective one at the right time.
    • Develop integrated communications plans for strategy execution.
    • Use strategies and tactics to meet communications objectives and reach target audiences on suitable channels.
    • Create and analyse research briefs to ensure advice is insight-driven.
    • Stay updated on industry news to inform advice.
    • Utilise deep knowledge of audiences and channels to best achieve communications goals.
  • Agency Management
    • Agencies are an essential part of our marketing team. Building strong relationships with them is crucial for scaling our impact. This person will ensure PR and social agencies have the necessary access to people and information to succeed in their efforts.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Focus on identifying and documenting what really matters, avoiding unnecessary articles, publications, and conversations. We emphasise quality over quantity and seek a leader who can pinpoint and capture high-value opportunities. Create objectives and KPIs to illustrate the strengths of our communications program and highlight areas for improvement.


  • Hybrid working: Must be available to work in the New York city office at least 2 days a week.
  • Previous experience in B2B enterprise software communications, including both agency and in-house roles.
  • Should have established relationships and references from media and influencers covering enterprise software
  • Proven track record in managing relationships and maintaining a regular briefing schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as product marketing, product, and engineering.
  • Proven experience in crafting well-written and strategic communications, including press releases, media pitches, Op-Eds, speaking abstracts, and award submissions, with examples.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, capable of translating complex, technical concepts into compelling stories for practitioner audiences and C-suite buyers.
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and curious with a strong approach to storytelling.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and make informed decisions on when to say yes or no.
