Our client is an international communications firm that specialises in corporate reputation management and public affairs. Our client collaborates closely with their global client base to pinpoint and mitigate risks, address complex challenges, and implement comprehensive strategies for safeguarding reputation. They advise across financial, corporate and political issues and due to a sustained period of growth are looking for an ambitious Senior Consultant to join their team at this exciting time. Although global in its reach, the business retains a tight-knit and collaborative culture.

Role

  • Actively engage in new business endeavours by identifying prospective leads, crafting proposals, and participating in presentations
  • Create and execute public affairs and communication strategies aimed at achieving tangible outcomes; oversee project execution on a daily basis
  • Manage diverse client accounts and nurture relationships
  • Offer timely and insightful guidance internally and to clients
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping on regional, national, and international scales as appropriate, and explore avenues for involvement
  • Provide support and execute impactful media interactions, coordination, and integrated digital campaigns
  • Provide effective management and mentorship to foster team members' development

  • You'll play a crucial role within busy account teams, executing campaigns aimed at addressing a broad spectrum of communication, political, regulatory, and policy challenges for some of the UK's leading corporations
  • Provide guidance to start-up ventures seeking to establish themselves in the UK market, offering your extensive client-facing experience and insight into navigating the ever-evolving media and political landscape
  • A seasoned professional with a strong background in agency or in-house roles, possessing significant expertise in client management and new business development
  • A thorough comprehension of the media and political terrain, applied across various sectors, is imperative
  • Strong written communication skills, along with effective organisational and project management abilities, are essential
  • A keen interest in current affairs and a genuine curiosity about clients and their sectors.
  • A proven track record in new business development is essential, with a preferred background in one or more of the following sectors: technology, life sciences, infrastructure, transportation, retail, and financial services
