Senior Director, Change Communications

We are currently supporting a global investment bank as they seek to make a Senior Director hire into their Change Comms team. This role reports directly into the Global Head of Change Communications and sits across both corporate change management projects as well as clients and partner comms. 

The role will be based out of the firm's New York office, however, could potentially also sit out of the London headquarters.

Role

  • Capable of leading major firm initiatives and managing high-impact projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in mentoring and team management.
  • Direct client communication changes from inception to delivery, including content creation, process oversight, and approvals.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement communication strategies for business and regulatory transitions.
  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans for significant client initiatives and regulatory shifts.
  • Provide expert advice on communication strategies and management of communication channels.
  • Leverage digital tools to create and distribute tailored communications to targeted audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and maintain resource platforms.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure our communications effectively engage clients and facilitate change.
  • Clearly articulate insights and viewpoints across marketing and client relations efforts.

Requirements

  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong experience in editing and proofreading, adhering to established guidelines and technical style manuals.
  • Skilled in networking and building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
  • Outstanding organisational and project management skills, capable of executing tasks efficiently and accurately with keen attention to detail and follow-through. Leading communications efforts and overseeing all communication outputs and projects related to business operations and regulatory/change initiatives.
  • Committed to enhancing client engagement through strategic involvement and persuasive communication techniques.
  • Proven ability in crafting formal business communications such as FAQs, talking points, presentations, newsletters, and more.
  • Develop innovative communication and marketing materials
