Our client, a leading global integrated communications agency headquartered in London, are looking to capitalise on a sustained period of growth within their award-winning Brand and Reputations team and add a Senior Director to their ranks. 

This team brings together corporate reputation and consumer brand specialists to create a uniquely integrated offer and  works on behalf of a broad range of cross sector clients range from blue chips to challenger brands.

Role

  • Develop comprehensive and innovative short and long-term communication strategies for clients aiming to influence discussions, alter consumer behaviour, or enhance their reputation
  • Take charge of cross-functional client teams to execute these strategies, assuming leadership, operational, and mentoring roles throughout the agency.
  • Offer guidance on emerging issues and assist clients in understanding potential campaign risks
  • Promote effective client management practices within the team, actively fostering relationships with key client contacts
  • Advise clients on the utilisation and measurement of campaigns to showcase their effectiveness, providing strategic recommendations as needed
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities for organic growth within the client portfolio.
  • Lead pitches for new business and serve as a senior advocate in smaller to medium-sized opportunities, contributing to team growth
  • Supervise the quality of the team's written materials, including press releases, media comments, opinion pieces, and proposals
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of the broader marketing landscape and facilitate multi-channel thinking within inter-agency teams, ensuring that the voice of public relations is heard when necessary

Requirements

  • Proven track record at Director level or equivalent
  • Proficient in leading client accounts, overseeing teams responsible for both project-based and retained work.
  • Extensive experience offering counsel to a range of client contacts, from PR Managers to CEOs, with confidence, composure, and clarity.
  • Well-versed in digital strategies, including the development and presentation of social and digital activations as part of comprehensive campaigns.
  • Highly organised individual relied upon to manage busy, integrated accounts and ensure effective and efficient team performance.
  • Skilled writer capable of crafting compelling client activity proposals, opinion pieces, and new business proposals.
  • Embraces innovative thinking and is unafraid to explore new approaches.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, instilling these practices within the team.
